Preferred Channel
As they say, “Where performance is measured; performance improves”. With this in mind, we now have a Dashboard dedicated to Raman wherein it will now be possible to measure the Lift in Engagement Rate as shown by Preferred Channel.
The Preferred Channel Lift will be calculated on basis of the users interacting with my communications. If I have Preferred Channel activated on my panel, I have the Preferred Channels being calculated for all my customers.
The Preferred Channel Lift that is visible on the Dashboard is lift that was measured when any communication was sent on Preferred Channels of the users as compared to that of Non-Preferred Channels. It can be intentional or unintentional that the communication was sent to any user on his Preferred Channel.
If Preferred Channel was used to send out the communications, this is the validation that it is working and opportunity to improve the conversion rates by sending out more communications on Preferred Channels.
If the Preferred Channel was not used to send out the communication, it is an opportunity to improve the conversion rates by sending out communications on Preferred Channel.
Preferred Channel Lift on any given time will be available for the previous month. So if I am viewing the Preferred Channel Lift on 4th of January, I will see the lift for the month of December.
There is a filter on the top to select month for which I want to see the Preferred Channel Lift/Performance. Once the month is selected, the section below will show the lift got by Preferred Channel in Percentage. The positive lift is shown in Green and Negative lift is shown in Red.
Below will be a section that will show how Preferred Channel and Non Preferred channels have performed in terms of Delivery and Engagement Rate.
There is an option to download the Preferred Channel Statistics from which the Lift is calculated from the Download Report button. This report has all the details related to Engagements, Deliveries and Open/Click rates for each channels as Preferred and Non-Preferred Channel.
If there are not much campaigns done in the month, there will not be sufficient data to calculate the lift. In this case, the Engagement Rates for each channel will be displayed along with the Delivery numbers of that channel.
