In-app Templates

Learn to edit and design In-app templates using the Netcore CE dashboard.

Overview

The In-app message templates section contains all the predefined templates or the ones you have previously created for your campaigns. You can select the ready-to-use templates of your choice or create a custom template to suit your campaign's needs.

Log in to the Netcore CE dashboard and navigate to Content > In-app > In-app message templates to create or use existing templates. You can create an In-app message with two options:

  1. Template gallery: You can create from scratch or customize ready-to-use system templates for your campaign.
  2. Saved Templates: You can use the previously created templates for your campaign, and if required, it can be edited or duplicated.

Netcore CE provides various in-app message campaign templates for specific marketing needs.

Template Gallery

To create an In-app message campaign, follow these steps:

  1. Select any position under the Content section when you create your campaign.

Sticky HeaderCreate a banner message that sticks to the top of the screen.
Sticky FooterCreate a banner message that sticks to the bottom of the screen.
Half InterstitialCreate a message that renders from the center and covers half the screen, typically centered.
InterstitialCreate a full-screen message that temporarily renders from the center over the entire screen.
CoverCreate a message that renders from the top and fully covers the entire screen, requiring user interaction.

Important Point to Remember

  • To use system templates from the template gallery, hover over the template, click the three dots, and select Use to continue.

Unified Content Editor (DIY)

The Unified Content Editor is your all-in-one solution for creating campaigns. This feature allows you to create and save custom campaigns for later use.

Custom HTML

For enhanced control over your campaigns, customize messages with HTML to achieve unique branding. You can use Custom HTML to create messages perfectly for your brand and engage your users when they are on the app. You can create campaigns using our Code Editor.

  1. Preview the final message before sending it and select SEND TEST MESSAGE.
  2. Click SAVE TEMPLATE to save your templates for future template usage.

Saved Templates

Previously, saved templates could be customized or duplicated to tweak a campaign.

Follow these steps to create a campaign from Saved templates section:

  1. Select Saved templates and navigate to the required campaign that has been previously created.
  2. You can also click on the Category and apply. For Template type, select the type and find the template.
  3. The search button can also be used to Search by name or ID and toggle the view to change and get more details.
  4. Click three dots and select the required settings.

Heads Up

Whenever you click on Edit, a Heads Up display is shown that gives you access to EDIT the template.

Edit Multiple Campaigns by Updating Templates

Simultaneously Edit Templates to Update Campaigns

When you create multiple campaigns using the same template, such as a product name or city location, any edits to the template will automatically update all campaigns or journeys that use it. The template is a master copy, ensuring consistency and saving you time.
