Overview
To send emails with Netcore, you must add and verify your domain. This step ensures that only authorized users can send emails from your domain, preventing misuse and ensuring security. Verifying your domain also improves email deliverability. It reduces the likelihood of your messages being marked as spam and ensures compliance with standards like DKIM and SPF. Additionally, it enables you to use the Netcore CE dashboard's analytics features for accurate campaign metrics.
Add a Domain
- Navigate to Settings > Email domain > Add domain. The Domain and DNS Configuration screen appears.
- Add your Domain Name and click Next Step.
- Configure the required DNS records. The fields available in DNS Configuration are listed below.
Field | Description |
---|---|
Purpose | Provide the reason or function of the DNS record in the email setup. |
Record type | Specify the DNS record type. For example, TXT, CNAME, and MX. |
Hostname | Specify the name of the DNS record that needs to be configured. |
Value | Specify the value associated with the DNS record. |
Status | Indicates the current status of the DNS record. The four status types here are:

- Click the Verify button to confirm your DNS records. Once verification is successful, click DONE. Your domain has been added and is listed on the Email domain page.
Verification Error
If your records fail verification, you will see this error message pop-up.

Important Points to Remember
- You can only delete domains that have an Error status.
- Use the search function or filters to find specific domains.
- All DNS records are mandatory to configure and verify.
- If necessary, you can edit the hostname value. Note that editing the hostname after verification requires re-verification of all records.
- If you edit the hostname value after verifying DNS records, the domain becomes inactive. You need to repeat the verification process.
