Product Picker

Add products into your emails right from your store using Netcore's Product Picker.

Overview

The Product Picker feature in the Netcore UCE Editor allows marketers to dynamically or statically select products for email. By integrating product catalogs and creating product feeds, this feature allows users to tailor product displays in communication templates, ensuring personalized and relevant messaging across multiple channels. The Product Picker enhances marketing efforts by automating product selection, reducing manual efforts, and increasing campaign relevancy.

Key Features and Benefits

  • Catalog Syncing: Easily sync multiple product catalogs from the Product Information Management (PIM) platform. This ensures that all product data such as name, image, price, status is updated and ready for campaign use.
  • Dynamic Product Feeds: Create product feeds based on catalog data and filters such as inventory, price, and category. This feature ensures that the displayed products remain relevant by auto-updating based on inventory and other criteria.
  • Static and Dynamic Product Displays: Marketers can select between static or dynamic product blocks in their templates.
  • Flexible Template Integration: The Product Picker integrates into email templates, allowing static and dynamic product blocks with customizable fields and layouts.

Prerequisites for Using Product Picker

Before you start using the Product Picker feature, ensure the following steps are completed:

  1. Maintain Your Product Catalog: Prepare a product catalog with details such as product IDs, prices, inventory, and other attributes.

  2. Sync Your Catalog Using PIM: Netcore uses a Product Information Management (PIM) tool to manage and sync your catalog data. The catalog can be linked to PIM using integrations like Shopify plugin, Magento plugin, XML, or a CSV file. Refer to this document for catalog integration through PIM.

  3. Integration Support: Our integration team manages the catalog syncing process. You do not need to interact with the PIM tool directly. Contact Netcore heldesk team at helpdesk@netcorecloud.com to enable this feature.

Use Case

  1. Integrate Catalog
Brand Studio integrates their product catalog with Netcore using PIM (Product Information Management). The catalog includes details like product ID, title, description, price, and inventory for all the latest fashion items.

  2. Sync Catalog
Brand Studio syncs their catalog with Netcore’s platform. Netcore maps the product details, such as product ID, price, and description, to ensure accurate product information is available for email campaigns.

  3. Select Product Feed
In the Product Picker, the marketing team at Brand Studio creates a dynamic product feed. They set filters to only show in-stock items within the summer collection, with a discount of at least 20% to target customers looking for deals.

  4. Customize Email Template
The team at Brand Studio selects an email template and adds the products block. They choose the dynamic product feed they just created, ensuring that the email will feature the products that meet the discount and stock criteria.

  5. Set Campaign Parameters
The marketing team defines the target audience. They choose to send the email to customers who have previously purchased from the summer collection or have shown interest in similar products in the past. They also set the email to be sent on a specific date before the weekend.

  6. Send Campaign
Once the email is ready, showcasing personalized products like dresses, sunglasses, and footwear with the 20% off offer, the team schedules the campaign. The email goes out to the selected customers, giving them a sneak peek into the summer sale.

By using Product Picker, Brand Studio successfully launched a personalized email campaign with relevant product recommendations and driving more sales.
