Learn to use Actions to create personalized journeys on the Netcore CE dashboard.
The Actions in a journey define the steps to be performed based on the user’s activity in the previous node. Actions define what happens to a contact after they enter a journey. They are used to perform tasks such as sending communications, updating contact data, or triggering external systems.

Use Actions to Create Personalised Journeys
The following actions are available in the Journey Builder:

| SMS | Sends a text message to the contact’s mobile number. | Transaction alerts, OTPs, and reminders. |
| Sends a WhatsApp message through the integrated WhatsApp Business channel. | Conversational campaigns, order confirmations, support updates. | |
| Web Push | Sends a push notification to the user’s web browser. | Flash sale alerts, website re-engagement. |
| App Push | Sends a push notification to users of your mobile application. | App engagement campaigns, feature announcements. |
| Voice | Sends an automated voice call or voice notification. | Critical alerts, reminders, service notifications. |
| Webhook | Sends event data to an external system via API. | Sync customer activity with CRM or backend systems. |
| Update Attribute | Updates a contact attribute value in the CE contact profile. | Mark contacts as "Engaged", update loyalty tier, or track lifecycle stage. |
| Remove from Journey | Immediately exits the contact from the journey. | Stop communication if a user converts or unsubscribes. |
| Viber | Sends a Viber message to the contact via the Viber messaging channel. | Promotional campaigns or alerts on Viber. |
| Zalo | Sends a message via the Zalo messaging platform. | Customer engagement campaigns in regions where Zalo is widely used. |
