When designing your email campaigns/ templates in UCE, it is important to understand that different email clients have varying levels of support for modern HTML and CSS features.

Red this document to know the specific design elements and features that may not work properly in Outlook desktop and Yahoo Mail. This will help you create emails that render consistently for all recipients.

Outlook Desktop Limitations

The following features are not supported or may not render correctly in Outlook desktop:

1. Border Radius

   • Border radius styling will not render in Outlook desktop clients.

2. Image Padding in Product Picker

   • Padding applied to images within product picker blocks will not display correctly in Outlook.

3. Product Picker Block Height

   • Product picker block heights may display inconsistently in Outlook and Yahoo when feed text (titles, descriptions) varies in character length.

4. Custom HTML Structure

   • Custom HTML must use table-based layouts. DIV-based structures will break in the Outlook desktop app.

5. Background Images

   • Background images applied at element and column levels may not render properly in Outlook desktop.

6. Product Picker Image Settings (Post-ODO Release)

   • After the product picker changes release for Outlook support (ODO client), the following limitation applies to all clients:
     • Only "image fit" will work in product picker image settings
     • Background image options (fill, cover, stretch) are not currently supported in Outlook
     • Fix planned for a future release

Yahoo Mail Limitations

The following features are not supported or may not render correctly in Yahoo Mail:

1. Box-sizing Property

   • Box-sizing is not supported in Yahoo Mail. Blocks with padding or borders may not render as expected.

2. Product Picker Block Height

   • Product picker block heights may display inconsistently when feed text (titles, descriptions) varies in character length.

3. Background Images

   • Background images applied at the element and column levels may not render properly in Yahoo Mail.
