Prerequisites to Enable Propensity Models
Before a propensity model can be activated, the system verifies that sufficient data are available to generate reliable predictions. Below are the data requirements by model type.
- Behavioral Models — Churn, Purchase, Uninstall, Unsubscribe
These models require sufficient historical user activity data before they can be enabled. The following conditions must be met:
- The relevant activity (e.g., purchases, uninstalls) must be tracked and available in the system.
- At least 10,000 unique users must have performed that activity in the feature window — 30 days for the 7-day model, and 60 days for the 14-day and 28-day models.
- At least 500 unique users must have performed the activity in the prediction window (7, 14, or 28 days before the run date).
- Communication Models — Click Propensity, Open Propensity
- Not applicable for BFSI clients (banking, insurance, financial, NBFC, and regulatory verticals).
- For all other verticals, the following must be true for the channel (Email, SMS, WhatsApp, RCS, etc.):
- At least 7 campaigns sent in the last 60 days.
- Each of those campaigns must have reached at least 250 delivered users.
- Repurchase Model
- Requires the Purchase model to be eligible across all three windows — 7 days, 14 days, and 28 days — simultaneously.
- If eligibility is missing for even one window, the Repurchase model will not be enabled.
