On-site Messages Reports
Learn about in-depth on-site messages reports across multiple engagement channels.
Overview
Reports provide comprehensive insights across various on-site messaging campaigns that are available on the dashboard. Reports facilitate thorough analysis, metric tracking, trend monitoring, and strategy optimization.
On-site messages include communication channels like:
- In-app Message: In-app messages are notifications displayed within your mobile app to engage users.
- Web Message: Web messages are targeted notifications displayed on your website to engage visitors and encourage specific actions.
Create On-Site Messages Report
- Log in to your dashboard account and go to Engage > On-site messages.
You can view the times the on-site messages are Viewed, Clicked, and their Conversions.
1. In-app Report
The In-app report provides details of the campaign's performance. For each campaign, you can see the number of times an In-app message is viewed, the number of users who have clicked, and the number of conversions.

Viewed | Represents the total number of users who have viewed the in-app message. |
Clicked | Represents the total number of numbers who have clicked the in-app message. |
Conversions | Represents the total number of users who performed the conversion event. |
Revenue | Revenue earned from the campaign. |
Click rate | Represents the percentage of total clicks on an in-app message compared to its total views, calculated as Total clicks / Total views. It shows how often users engage with the message by clicking. |
Unique views | Represents the number of unique users who have seen the in app message. |
Unique clicks | Represents the number of unique users who clicked on the in app message, excluding clicks on the 'close' icon. |
Unique click rate | Represents the percentage of unique users who clicked on the message compared to those who viewed it. It is calculated as Unique Clicks / Unique Views. This measures distinct user engagement. |
Close rate | Represents the percentage of times users closed the in-app message out of the total views, calculated as Total closes / Total views. It indicates how often users choose to close the message. |
Unique close rate | Represents the percentage of unique users who closed the message compared to the unique views, calculated as Unique closes / Unique views. This shows the number of different users closing the message. |
Conversion rate | Represents the percentage of total conversions resulting from the in-app message out of the total views, calculated as Total conversions / Total views. It measures the message's effectiveness in driving desired actions. |
The following metrics are essential for generating a detailed in-app message report. You can also add custom attributes to tailor the report to your needs. Refer to the table below for a description of each metric.

GUID | Globally Unique Identifier for the in-app message event. |

Action Time | Timestamp of the user action on the in-app message. |
Tags | Tags associated with the campaign for categorization. |
App Name | Name of the application displaying the in-app message. |
OS Type | Operating system type of the user's device (e.g., Android, iOS). |
OS Version | Version of the operating system on the user's device. |
App Version | Version of the app displaying the in-app message. |
SDK Version | Version of the SDK used for the in-app message. |
Make | Manufacturer of the user's device. |
Model | Model of the user's device. |

2. Web Message Report
The web message report provides the details of the performance of the web message campaign. For each campaign, you get to know the number of times a web message is viewed, how many clicks, and the number of conversions.
The detailed report can be downloaded to the registered email address.
